'This' would be another article about the US Presidential Election. Hell even all the bad articles about Bush piss me off. I swear there�s a new one every day. I mean is there any other news besides the President?
Here�s part of one from a day or two ago: In manual recounts of the Florida Presidential vote, "USA Today... concluded that Al Gore probably lost between 15,000 to 25,000 votes -enough to have decisively won Florida and the White House- through mistakes made by Democratic voters that legally disqualified their ballots. The papers found Gore's name was marked on overvotes far more often than Bush's name."
Now does this mean Democrats are dumber than Republicans or does it mean more people turned out to vote Democrat and thus more people messed up their ballot � because of a shitty system?

Me too, but you have to care. You have to be pissed off that the person more people turned out to vote for - didn't win election - even if you voted for Bush.
The popular vote is meaningless - we have an electoral system in place to ensure equal representation for every state in the union - not just the higher populated coastal states...
BUT IF MORE PEOPLE TURNED OUT IN FLORIDA TO VOTE FOR GORE AND THEIR VOTES WEREN'T COUNTED...
Ugh.
So... Are we better off now that we have a Republican in office?
I don't think so, but what do I know. I'm biased against those who are anti abortion, pro capital punishment, and anti environmental�
and I�m sure I�m going to keep asking myself that same question every time I see some news article about Bush - which would be every god damn day�
