I don�t know what the fuck is up with me, but it�s starting to make me fucking cranky as hell. It might be the cold medicine, but I don�t know. Fuck it. I�d like a good night sleep once this weekend and I�m going to get it if I have to check myself into the Biltmore.

So� last night was fun. I lost, but not by much � 2.1 points after 5 rounds. Actually it depends how you look at it. I took the first two rounds, Tony took the second two rounds, and the last round we both should have been disqualified because we secretly swapped poems with each other and read each other�s pieces instead of our own. Yes, it was our own little anarchistic exercise in fun.

Whatever, it was fun.

Yes, it realy was a fun night � Tony and I always put on a good show together � AND I made Fourteen Dollars!!
If performance poetry was ever about the money, we�d have no verse in the universe.

So in an HOUR I have to take a shower, head to work because I left in my cube the Special Company Shirt I'm required to wear and then drive 45 minutes to the Special Olympics site�
AND OF COURSE it�s raining, so we will all be crowded in a giant sweaty muggy ass tent.
BUT it�s for a good cause and I bet I�m going to enjoy myself because I�ll be helping other�s to enjoy themselves while feeling proud at the same time and sometimes, sleep or not, that�s what it�s all about.
