2000 plus GotPoetry Members

GotPoetry now has over 2000 members, of those 70+ members are active a day and 250+ members visit a month. Inique people just reading something per day hovers between 600 to 650 during the week, 400 people on the weekend.

We've had over 6,478,063 page views since we started keeping track about 4 years ago but our growth is really taking off.

Now the question is, where do we go from here? There will hopefully be a new column starting in a few weeks, the profile pages will soon be customizable like a myspace is customizable (but not so terribly ugly), I am trying to design a module that allows Mortal Kombat style online poetry tournaments and I've already done a lot of work to reward people for contributing.

But where do we go from here? If you are interested in writing a monthly or weekly column on something a poet would be interested in, contact me. Chances are we'll give it a try. If you are interested in helping out in any way, let me know! I'd welcome it. Myself, Natey, Tony and the few others manage the place a lot, but if you are a programmer and are interested in PHP I'll train you and work with you and welcome you and wash your... ahem. I mean, let me know.
